The 7th and 8th grade students have fun being involved in a number of learning experiences using different media such as pencil, charcoal, printmaking materials, clay, oil pastels, watercolor/acrylic paints. Each experience is designed to generate an individual approach to meeting the objectives. An infinite number of successful solutions are possible to each creative challenge posed.

                        Vera Russell Art Gallery
On Saturday, January 30th, several South Junior High students were honored at an Art Opening at the Vera Russell Art Gallery at St. Cloud State University. The following students from South received certificates for exhibiting their art work: 
          8th Grade - Weston Albers, Noah Butkowski, Lexi Gross,
                            Clayton Matthews and Megan Parries. 

          7th Grade - Ava Huebner and Cory Rouw. 
The art work proudly represents our school and you are invited to see it at the Vera Russell Gallery in the Education Building at SCSU. The exhibit includes art work from students from South Junior High, North Junior High, Westwood Elementary and Oakhill. The exhibit will be on display until the end of the school year.
